Supergirl Lingerie Shoot

I wasn't planning on adding a prop at first, but I loved the angle I ended with, and it didn't look right unless Supergirl was leaning up against something.

Another predicament I had was how to indicate who she is without adding clothing to her?

I could have gone with a necklace, a bracelet, or some earrings, but I decided to add a little symbol to her little belt (not sure what it's called).

The next piece I'm doing for this buyer is Red Sonja. I'll have it up in the next few days.

Aayla Secura

This is (I believe) the final version of this commission. At the last minute I whited out the eyes and added a little bit of light blue for the shine of the light saber. I'm still waiting for the buyer to reply to let me know if he's happy with it. If I have to modify it, I'll post another scan.

Power Girl Lingerie Shoot

You know, the only thing I'm not happy with on this commission is Power Girl's hair. I went straight to the page with the inks, and I really didn't get the desired result. But that's okay. It's not really her hair that makes her so popular with fanboys, is it?

Americana #1

This is the first of three commissions purchased by KC Ryan, featuring his original character, Americana (Check out his site at http://kcryan.com to read about Americana's exploits).

I'm working on several others, but I'll be finishing about one every 1 to 2 days (if all goes well). Had a birthday party to go to today, so I couldn't get a whole lot done, but I hope to get back on track tomorrow.

A friend of mine online suggested that this would make a great "What If?" story. I commented that my favorite "What If?" story was "What If Wolverine Had Become Lord of the Vampires?". But that's neither here nor there.

This is an example of some of the simple one character commissions I've been working on lately. Some others I'll be working on for the same buyer: Power Girl, Supergirl, Lara Croft, and Red Sonja. I'm anxious to get started on the last two because I've never drawn those characters before.
