286: Sovereign Preview Panel

In this preview panel from the Arcadia Anthology #6, Sovereign confronts a bank robber in a dark alley (and that's Ominus in the background tagging along).

216: Ominus

This is from a panel from an upcoming Sovereign story in the Arcadia Comics Anthology # 5, coming in September.

160: Sovereign Preview Panel With Tones and Letters

155: Unused Sovereign Panels

Some more unused panels from my Sovereign story. This little sequence just didn't seem dynamic enough, and even felt lazy. So I changed the plot up a bit to something a little more dramatic (at least to me).

153: Final Sovereign Inks Sneak Peak

This will be the last preview image of Arcadia #4's Sovereign story I post online.
The issue should be up for sale by mid-month or maybe a little later.

150: Sovereign Panel Inks Complete

I've posted this same panel three or four times now. I finally got around to inking it in. You can see what I put it off for a while. Despite my sketchy, impressionistic method, buildings are a bitch.

149: More Sovereign Inks Progress

147: Sovereign Inks Progress

As of tonight I won't be calling these nightly postings "sketches" anymore. Most of the time they're works in progress, rarely something I sat down to sketch.

This is the bottom half of the first page of Sovereign's latest installment. I'm getting a late start on this chapter. Deadline is fast approaching. Pencils on all five pages are extremely rough, but they're ready for inking. Time to get moving!

Sketch 144: Sovereign Sneak Peak

Sketch 139: Sovereign Panel: Thor In Hot Pursuit

These two panels follow the Sovereign panel from a few nights ago. It's Thor, the Norse god of thunder, in hot pursuit of Sovereign!

Sketch 135: New Sovereign Panel

From the Sovereign installment to be included in the Arcadia Anthology # 4.

Sovereign Preview Page and A Few Plugs

I noticed that I had posted this Sovereign preview page everywhere but here.

The first two issues of the Arcadia Comics Anthology are now available for purchase on Indy Planet.com. Just go to this link to order yours today:

I'm really excited to be a part of this project. It's much easier to get published material out there since I'm part of the "collective." The one-man operation of putting out a 22 page comic book would take months on my own. Now I'm only responsible for five pages every two months (though I intend to put out considerably more as time progresses).

You can visit our blog at http://arcadiacollective.blogspot.com where you'll find some "useful links" in the margin that will take you directly to our individual pages.

You can keep up with Arcadia Comics Collective news and updates by following us on Twitter at

I've started posting on a regular basis any character sketches or preview panels put out by my cohorts or myself.

We're on Facebook as well, if that's more your style. Just go to http://www.facebook.com/people/Arcadia-Comics/100000496762529#!/profile.php?id=100000496762529

And lastly, my webcomic, "Revenger", has recently gotten back on track. With any luck there won't be anymore delays (or at least very few).

You can check it out the most recent strip at

or you can start at the beginning by going to
